Hi, I’m Kimberly Seeherman, event design expert and owner of Events By Fabulous. Today, we’re going to talk about party decoration rentals. When you’re getting started planning a party, you might be thinking, “What do I need to rent, or what do I need to bring in to really make my party spectacular?” Well, part of our business is actually a rental company. I’m just the right person to tell you all about the rentals that you’ll need to make your party pop!

First of all, when you’re doing a tablescape, you definitely need to think about renting china and tableware. Not everyone has enough matching china and glassware and flatware to be able to accommodate the number of people at their party, so it’s a great thing to think about renting. It also will save you doing the dishes at the end of the night.

Another thing that you’re going to need to rent for any kind of event is a linen. Table linens are a wonderful way to add a little bit of festive atmosphere to any party. Rather than having your standard dining room table, you want to throw over a colored linen to really give that table just a little bit extra party look.

Another essential party element are chairs, and in the video we’re showing a Chiavari chair – it’s a very popular style of banquet chair, but it can be used in many applications. It’s a little bit of a step up from a basic folding chair, and Chiavaris come in a variety of colors from metallic, to black, to natural fruit wood. They’re all available for rental on our website or a party house near you.

Now we’ve discussed a lot of great options for rentals and décor that you’ll need for your event. As a standard rule of thumb, when you’re planning the budget for something like this, you should be thinking to spend between 10 and 15 dollars per person on all the rentals you’ll need to make your party fabulous!
