I’m going to show you a creative way to display your wedding vows. My brides always say to me I spent all this time making these beautiful words for my husband I want to make sure everyone can see them. I’m going to show you how to do a vow backdrop and it’s a wonderful addition that you can add to decorate at your wedding.
To create this look all you are going to need is a banner stand, some clamps and some craft paper. Here I’ve used a four foot roll of white craft paper with a black paint pen but you can use any color of craft paper and any kind of paint pen, for example maybe a dark paper and a metallic paint pen. Basically choose the colors that work best with your wedding theme.
Now you just find a nice space, lay the paper out on the floor and actually go ahead and write your vows by hand. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s the sentiment that counts and actually it looks even more quaint and cute if it’s kind of a little crooked. But if you are a perfectionist, you can certainly send it to a printer and have it printed professionally. All you’re going to do is write your vows then to hang them, you’ll put the paper over the top of the banner stand, you can clamp on the paper, make sure it’s super straight and then stand back and actually make sure the banner stand itself is level.
You can use it as a decorative element inside your wedding, for example, behind the cake table or even behind a sweetheart table or if you really want to make a fun activity out of it, you can turn into a photo backdrop. So there you go, a creative way to display your wedding vows, enjoy.
